Dealing with Bobby's Solo
So these guys feel like constant obstacles that I gotta avoid without the ability to really remove them while solo. Granted, it's probably just me being dumb but the whole "arms grow back thing" makes it really hard to deal with if you have a hard time 'making friends' ingame.

Right now I'm running Marcoh with Bob n Weave and Escape Plan. I have a lucky second day save where I have salmonsnake rune, ring of wraiths, and some random other nonsense that raises defense.

I feel like my only option is treating them like obstacles to be avoided, rather than how I've essentially been winning via attrition against most other enemies.

honestly i only fight them solo after i get persuade. that way you can kill them in two turns.
after you get diplomacy its a first turn kill so they arent even a threat anymore
until then yea probably best to just avoid them

Not really a permanent sollution but if you make a murky vial you can instantly kill them. Another thing I used to do was double black smog using spice forge to take off their limbs.

As said above, an attack that goes after all limbs is ideal for bobbies. Black smog, murky vials, etc.

What I'll often do is just blast them with the rifle or shotgun (outside of battle), problem solved. Understandably you may not always have that option but it is the optimal one when solo.

More trouble then they are worth unless you have a party

Black smog with red spice or red arc is usually my go to, I mostly run magic builds so...
