Death Mask on Staircase

A death mask spawned in the main stair case of prehevil and I'm stuck in the book store area my only options are to fight him or backtrack through the sewers. Any advice?

If for some miracle you can run from him, you can set a bear trap if you have one, those permastun him.

20 Speed or more should give you a 100% escape chance, you can use pepspill. Being honest, it sounds really bad that he have you there, I got trapped by the mob once, and I had to reset the game because I couldn't won that fight.

U should learn to juke enemy

if you are in the spot where I think you are, bear trap is your best bet

u can easily kill him, just throw glass shard into head and hands

Update I got passed him by backtracking through the sewer, I now have a full party, bear trap, accessory that resist limb loss and a lot of guns.
