Where is Marina???

I read that Needles kills Marina if she goes to the bookstore, so on Day 1 night, I took the liberty of killing Needles, running back to the mansion, and recruiting Marina. Once she left, I went to the bookstore and she's not there.
Did I miss something? Or is there just an issue with events/scripting.

Sleep to morning day 2 she might be with Karin during the afternoon of day 2 at the ruined city area.

Depending on what has happened in your game so far, she may show up at the bookstore, she may have been kidnapped and sent back to the Mayor's house, or she may be hiding from a certain sniper near the orphanage.

It is also possible she has disappeared from the game, unfortunately.

Yeah, I killed him, went back and got Marina, and then she left.
This is my first playthrough, so I'm trying to be as blind as possible, but dawg I am not doing the Olivia/Abella solo run as my first one

If you want to play blind, then just play blind. Don't worry about having "a good run," just play the game. In a game like this, you're not going to be able to stop bad things from happening to yourself or other party members without either experiencing it for yourself once, or spoiling it for yourself beforehand.
