I need some help...
I go to the city but there is always something I mess up. I A. Have no mind healing items. B. No healing items. or C. I have almost no skin bibles. I know the skin bibles are RNG but all I need is advice on how to conserve my resources or go quicker.

Things that I know:
1. Levi's Trench gun skip
2. Vinushka skip
3. Orphanage Effigy
4. Apartment Effigy

Other than that, I have nothing else I know about. Please help me.

lack of healing items can be an RNG problem, it's happened to me. There's tons of loot spots so you should have SOME. If you're burning through healing items too fast it could mean you're trying to fight everything too early or you're not fighting efficiently.

Avoid fights whenever possible. You don't get experience and most enemies don't drop good loot. Head collecting is another story entirely. Also, learn the weakness of every enemy. Quite a few of the enemies in the game can be taken down without taking much if any damage. If you struggle with a particular enemy type, try looking them up on the wiki for strategies.

Skin bibles are RNG to a point, but there's enough bookshelves in the game you are guaranteed to get them all. Make sure you're checking all the bookshelves in Old Town, the woodcutters house, and the Mayor's house. In the city you have the bookstore, and the orphanage to get whatever you missed.

Mind healing items are super plentiful, not sure where you're going wrong there but there's beer and vodka all over the map. Make sure you're checking loot spots. Also any bar in the city has them behind the counter.

Yea at the start I fight the villagers and Tanaka so I probably should not attack the villagers. For the mind it is usually from using magic and unlike the first game, there is no opium and using the heroin is a downside overall. I either use Melee or Magic and I have to use spice forge to decrease the cost, but if I fight O'saa then I probably take a lot of damage or I start as O'saa which is a bit better. Honestly, these issues wouldn't be issues if I got the last effigy quicker. (I my healing items are used because after I battle, I heal any damage. As everyone who has played this game will know that one mess up is basically death)

Are you scavenging for food and herbs in the beginning part? There is a shop near the orphanage where you can get tobacco. And have Henryk / Dan for food and alcohol. You should try to avoid most fights until you have a full-ish party. I'd save magic for more powerful enemies if possible.

I get all the herbs at the beginning and for the shop I save up for the hardened heart but I can just purchase after I get it, I normally get Abella instead of Henryk since food is the easiest resource to manage, for the Dan part I don't really know how to get him but I can look it up on whatever. Thanks for the magic advice, the only "hard" enemies I have encountered are: Father Oscar, Deathmask, and The Mob. (Which does contribute to your 3-4 party members since I beat them with Olivia, Abella, Marcoh, and Levi.) These enemies does screw up my party so like the last person said, wait until I get strong.

best way to get anywhere at all is go get abella get heroin go to the restaurant recruit the soldier boy now you can actually fight bobbies and other enemies and then head for the church since theres alot of stuff to get and no real dangers.

There is also a secret stash on the same map as the train HQ, there is a certain patch of grass that has bolt cutters and a gun and some ammo. Unless this is what you meant by Levis trench gun skip? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcBTC6IpwU4

Pinecone pig is all chance, I did a playthrough with PP and I think out of 25 encounters, it brought me something like 3 times. Maybe I had garbage rng that run
