Why Pav Kills Marcoh and Tanaka

In the F&H wiki we learn that Pav wants to kill Kaiser, becouse he wants no one to suffer same fate as he so thay makes him "good guy" but then in gane he schouts "Termina is upon us" and kills Tanaka and Marcoh like psycho.


Most likely he is taking part of Termina festival by killing others but wiki also says Pav didnt knew about Kaiser plans and he just wanted to kill him

Marco saw a Brenan soldier and punched first. Then Pav pulled his gun. Marco didn't know who it was. He just saw the uniform and punched. If you get to the scene and read the dialogue, before he shoots it summarizes most of it. You can also try to persuade him if you have that skill

Both parts of the encounter have a reason to do it.

Marcoh is aware of someone following them and the evil presence of prehevil.
Pav know that the Termina event will turn people against each other.

Self defence in each ways. Excesive, probably. But ONCE the encounter occurs, someone have to die. Pav is someone you can't argue with.

Maybe you can save him before day 2...

pav is judged harshly by almost anybody since he's in a Brenan military uniform. He is also aware of the termina festival, so he is looking out for himself and being paranoid about being knocked off. Thats why he comes off as a psycho.

If you make it to the tower on day 1, an event will trigger that will allow you to save all of them.

If you have the mind read skill during the event, he thinks to himself that he didn't want to have to kill anyone that early in the festival. I don't remember what the text said verbatim, but the impression I got was that he seems aware that they have to kill each other, but that he wanted to avoid it for as long as possible.

Pav may not have any intention of winning the festival, since his main goal is just to kill Kaiser to avenge his family

It could be that he only loosely understands that the intention is for all contestants to kill each other, but not the reason why or what the consequences are if they choose not to participate.

Supposedly there is an update coming that will have cutscenes showing more backstories and hopefully more playable characters, since Miro has expressed that he'd like to make more contestants playable, but is unsure how difficult that will be. Tanaka is the most likely, followed by Pav.
