Why does skipping intro give all benefits?

I dont get it. Ive been rerolling for a while now trying to find something I like and I just got to journalist and when I accidentally skipped backstory and intro I got all her benefits.

why??

I get both persuasion and escape plan. Afaik thats from one reward question

nah you can get escape plan from question 1 and 2

Skip is a bit weird, you just get predefined gear and skills not specific selections from the backstory. Usually some hybridization of multiple options mashed together while at times skipping other parts entirely. Especially on the final equipment options it's some sort of mix, like getting the pistol but also some of the bread, no gambison and no meat because it took only a portion of each selection. Some characters it's worse than on others. Sometimes it's worth it for the unique skill loadouts.
