Marina bugged?

So I was trying out a new strategy with Olivia trying to make her a turret on wheelchair, so with that plan I was going to kill Tanaka and Levi on day 1 for +1 agility and gun proficiency.

However, now that I killed the Mayor before day 1 evening. Marina somehow still show up at the Mayor's estate like she was kidnapped. Even weirder is she disappeared after leaving the Mayor's estate area and I tried to find her at bookstore and she wasn't there as well. I'm confused at what to do now, still need her for the engraving.

Well, this is a bug that even I experienced on day 2 night when I entered into the mayor's house to confront moonscorched Henryk. After killing him, I recruited her and as soon as I exited the Mayor area, she disappeared and I could never find her. I searched every place, but she was nowhere to be found.

So let me give you two suggestions to resolve this situation, first is if you want to engrave god symbol on your character in your present run, there's no other option but to kill her. Second, if you really want Marina in your party the best option is to kill the priest in Mayor's mansion, then sleep on the bed where Marina is locked with her in your party. Then only she stays in your party permanently.

{There's another way to recruit Marina, but I haven't encountered that situation before so do your research on that. For that you'll have to let Levi get moonscorched. After that event, he will attack both Karin and Marina( forgot if it was Marina or not) near the Church of All Mer in the area near the sea shore where a military guy shoots moonscorched civilians. In that fight you'll have to intervene in order to recruit both of the players.}

Did you kill the priest as well? Evidently the priest is the trigger (though I do say kill both just to make sure)

Also, I've found that even TALKING to the Mayor and then killing him will cause the trigger to happen. In my experience you have to straight up gank him.

I killed the priest, which is super weird because I fought him outside of the Mayor's manor for some reason in the afternoon.

The problem with that method is like I said... Levi cant get moonscorched because I already killed him in the restuarant... so this event chain shouldn't be a thing. I even found Karin go around her business in front of the news agency doing just fine
