Alright, how does this actually work? Because the wiki claims it can prevent infection but the game doesn't. Did it get changed?
Also, if I put this on someone who is already bleeding is their bleeding cured or is it purely preventative?

It does prevent infection, the description just fails to mention this. It is also purely preventative, and only against in battle sources of bleed though this is pretty much the only way you’ll see it in Fear and Hunger mode.

Doesn't remove it just prevents it from being applied on you.

Ring of still blood and salmonsnake do not prevent bleed. running either or both does j@ck. ♥♥♥♥. nothing.

yeah i ran it, and still got bleed out during combat.

Would be nice if Thorned Ring prevents all kinds of toxins from Olivia. Would give it at least one valid use on a boss other than very specific enemies.

anyone have any idea how to edit the game save to let you have it in inventory, ya know for testing purposes and totally not to add it to my build with a chainsaw so I can go full doom guy

use saveeditonline, you put your savefile and then you put the "items" file (located in www/data folder) and you can add or remove whatever item you need :)

that's the reason you first add your savefile and then you add the "items" file wich gives you a list of all the items in-game (even those you don't have)

edit2: now that you mention it. Although it is true that in this way a list of objects that I have and do not have would appear... Salmonsnake Rune does not appear listed, perhaps it is hidden under another name, there are objects that belong to the first game, perhaps the developer reused scripts from f&h1 and forget to change the names in some objects?
