Fear & Hunger 2: Termina

What happened to Cahara?
So, if Ragnvaldr survived and had inheritors, Enki reached enlightenment, Le'Garde became a new god (with the help from D'arce, I guess), do all of these facts mean Cahara was the one to let the God of Fear and Hunger to born and then was the one to be killed by it?

I think Enki was the one, he reached enlightenment but also hes the only character besides the new gods and Le'Garde who couldve known that a human could ascend/the girls potential to become a god. its really just kind of up in the air, I very much doubt Enki would bother to drag around the girl to the heart of darkness after he became enlightened, but its even less likely Cahara would even reach the heart let alone take on the responsibility of caring for the girl or even knowing her potenial. HOWEVER, if he isnt mentioned at all then theres definitely the possibility, even the god of fear and hunger ending fro mthe first game mentions that the player wouldn't be remembered or recognized despite playing a key role in humanity's development.

Would be Cahara most likely, I think. Like you said, Enki wouldn't for a second bother with the girl, D'arce would probably be too busy simping for Le'garde, helping him achieve godhood, and Rag went on his monster massacre and promptly left, and started his line of monster hunters.
There's also a certain irony to the man who was the least involved with the major plot, his motivation being primarily to get paid and ♥♥♥♥ off, having a major hand in the rising of a god that would help humanity develop further.

I thought it's fitting and irony that the person who has wife and possibly child waiting back home is the one who has enough empathy to a unknown girl he randomly found in a dungeon.

Maybe he see the girl as a visage for his unborn child. Maybe he can't push himself to abandon the girl like how he was abandon when he was a kid. Maybe Cahara believed that if he could abandon this girl, he could also abandon his unborn child if thing get bad, like how his parent did. And that line of thought on what he could do to his future child devastate him so much that even at the face of Fear&Hunger Dungeon's horror, he still can't abandon this girl.

Also in my head canon Cahara, despite suffering so much, still go out of his way to show kindness to the girl before she turn into God of F&H. And because of that tiny kindness in F&H2: Termina, the God of Fear and Hunger pass the kindness down to us as the power to SAVE SAFELY WITH NO BAD CONSEQUENCE.
