Is there a way to break free from being tied up ?

So yeah, i was a bit of an evil ♥♥♥♥ and i killed one of the people outright and then i got tied up, the game says i can struggle with the directional keys but it doesnt seem like im actually going to break free. Will i eventually break free or is it pointless to struggle?

eventually on night 3 ive heard, but ive never tried

maybe you can convince someone to untie you but i doubt it

Getting restrained and tied up is a forced end game scenario. Time eventually passes and you get freed after everyone has moonscorched, there's no way to escape it by struggling.

I think it would be neat if you had pursuasion or intimidation and could use it to do a coinflip to see if they will untie you ONCE.

I tried it and basically it puts you on Day 3 Night. There was maybe six interactions.
1. Abella and Marcoh deciding what to do with you
2. Marcoh feeding you
3. Rat
4. Samarie running past
5. Olivia feeding you
6. Olivia talking to you one last time
