I haven't bought the game or the first, and I have a question about it.

As to your question there's one scene that would qualify as "rape" in this game as far as I'm concerned. It's fairly late in the game, and it requires you to do something that the game kinda hints you shouldn't do and lose to the enemy it spawns, or play maso mode where the enemy can spawn naturally. Don't do that. Maso mode is trash despite what some might say here

If you want to guarantee you don't see scene in question, just don't rub/empty any
oil lamps you may find, especially in the back rooms of any guy named Dr. Keffer

If playing as Abella, there is also possibly one scene of attempted rape. It just goes to a fight and, if you lose (it's an easy fight, so you shouldn't lose), it just goes to game over.

Yeah, there's plenty of sexual violence in the game, but unlike the first game there aren't really any outright sex or rape scenes. The closest it comes are the two aforementioned scenes, and even then those aren't on the same level as say, losing to a prison guard in the first game.

I dunno, it may be just one scene with on particular enemy, but the sheer brutality of poe's death scene feels like it's at least at the level of the prison guards. :/

As for the woodsman....well....do you consider Alien series face huggers to be "rape"? Because that's what I would compare it too. And I would consider it a violation and bodily assault, but I'm not sure if the word "rape" really applies here. Feels like too strong of a word here. I also consider it too comical to be truly afraid of it.

I mean, if you wish to consider it "rape" than that's your prerogative, I just grew up with movies that were similar enough to make me not take it so seriously.

I'd consider alien facehuggers to be a 'non-sexual rape'... at least not sexual in the human understanding of it. Xenomorphs totally see it as sex. It is a violation and impregnation, though just doesn't happen the human way.
