Fear & Hunger 2: Termina

How do I Save in this game?
Died two times in the beginning and had to restart all over again from the Intro in the train.

May someone please just tell me how to Save?

There are 3 ways to Save

1.) By sleeping. You'll be taken to a dream where you can save and upgrade your character. This also advances time. (The game is 3 days long, with each day having Morning, Afternoon, and Night.) This method doesn't work on Maso mode since the game starts on Day 3 night there.
2.) Find a Book of Enlightenment or buy one from Pocketcat. This book can be used to save anywhere, but can only be used once, and then it crumbles.
3.) Find the Fear and Hunger skin bible and draw the sigil on a Perfection circle. (Marina draws one on the Train at the start, that's that kind you're looking for.) This will spawn a statue that let's you save once on F&H and Maso mode, and 3 times on Easyer mode.

How do I sleep?

The first place you can sleep is on the train itself, the bench in the corner of the car you enter in can be cleared and used as a place to sleep. There are also beds located around various houses in Prehevil that can be slept on, but if there are enemies around you'll be ambushed. For instance, there's a bed in the Woodsman's house, but if he's still alive he'll attack you if you try to use it.

Is it ok to burn a save in the beginning just so I don't have to skip through everyone's dialog? Do I miss out on anything? I don't want to have to keep skipping everyone's dialog for 5 minutes AND make up progress if I die in the beginning without saving.

im also wondering about saving right at the start, what would you be missing out on during the morning of day 1?

I wouldn't burn a save for that, you don't have to go through everyone's dialog. You can just choose to leave and it doesn't affect anything. If you're paranoid about that, the W key on the keyboard fast forwards the text.
