Total War Battles: SHOGUN

Dont buy
Lowest meta score of any game in my list but it was in my game list for some reason so tried it. Played through a skirmish mode and had no idea what was going on. Nothing you hover over gives you any idea of what it does or is used for. Didnt see a turorial or anything to teach you game.

Campaign might but after the skirmish and seeing how simplistic and boring game was i just logged. If i didnt want to play it for free longer than 10min you probably wont be happy with buying it.

Well this is the first Total War game ever so it's gonna suck compared to the others.

Statement above is not true.
Shogun: Total War was a first game from Total War series, but that game has NOTHING in common with "Total War Battles:Shogun" (well, apart from the name, which is quite similar).

By the way, Shogun: TW is available on steam, here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/345240/ . It passed the trials of time and still is a great game (after 16 years!) - much, much better than TW Battles Shogun.

Wait this isn't Shogun Total War? Surpised how they'd include this in the bundle.

No shogun total war was a really good game actually. Most of the older total war games were great. Newer ones have lost a lot of tactics and enjoyment in battle in favor of speeding battles up sadly.

Got the warhammer one and man were those battles unsatisfying to me. each one being around 5-10 min, with army routing and just chasing them down after 5min. Even had a battle with 2 ful stacks vs 2 full stacks and it lasted 11min of game time total. Think i got the "you have won, would you like to chase fleeing units blah blah" around min 6.
This game is decent, but I only really enjoyed playing it on a touch screen between classes in college.
