Regarding the Trivia Game Loop Bug

Hey everyone,

First off, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support on Inescapable's launch. We're very excited to see so many folks enjoying our work and playing Inescapable.

Now that Inescapable has made it out into the wild, it seems there is an issue we need to resolve related to trivia-style games causing some sort of All You Need Is Kill/Groundhog Day-style loops!

We're working on it now and we will have this issue resolved as quickly as we can.

If you have video of this issue, or a save you can provide us, it will help us to find and fix the root cause more quickly, so please do feel free to share.

We'll be posting updates in this thread, as well as over on the @InescapableGame Twitter account for greater visibility.

Update:

We have now identified the cause of this issue and are currently working on a fix. We anticipate this will be live in the next few hours.

This issue is related to save-scumming during trivia games. Until the fix is deployed, please avoid saving/loading during trivia to avoid this issue!

This issue has now been resolved and a hotfix has been pushed live!

Where do we send the saves?

As you can see it overrides story events and character events. I don't know how to access the save files, but if you guide me I could probably send over the file no problem.

The default save location is the "C:\Users\(YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Dreamloop Games\Inescapable" -folder.

However, we have now isolated this issue and hope to have it resolved and pushed live within the next few hours! (Check the update above for more info!)
