many others have questions and think the game is lost - all this wouldn't happen if u simply put update notes right here on steam on a regular basis instead of only using twitter and discord. the game is not on these platforms, it is on steam. so pls think about ur community and about the wellbeing of ur game.
cheers
Maybe not but 8 days down is 8 days forgotten, so you may as well have.
Really? I strongly suggest that your most experienced employee (janitor maybe?) take a quickie DevOps 101 course someplace, cuz daaaaamn ya'll suck hard at infrastructure management and deploying code properly.
That makes sense, to communicate through the channels where you DON'T sell the game and where your players AREN'T. Companies should always rely on the consumer to participate in no fewer than 4 alternate communication channels to hunt down status and update info. This tactic has always improved consumer confidence.
I have only once witnessed something like this before [The Stomping Lands] and that did not go well..
DaD did this in January and April. Their Legal Troubles is not an excuse either because they still kept going despite the C&D claim on the title. Yet they still delivered. People were saying the same exact thing late 2022 with DaD's take down rumors being released. Hunt's release had a 1 week server downtime within the first month it was launched as well. People thought they pulled a bait and switch. Hell, if you want another example, if anyone was around for fortnite's open beta release, that was a ♥♥♥♥ storm and a half with total downtime for servers reaching 13 days in one month.
From my years of living in the "♥♥♥♥ games and AAA bust" era of gaming, I learned to just let the game run its course. If it comes back, it comes back (No Man's Sky). If it dies, it dies (The Cycle).

like guiness...' Good things come to those who wait! '
Probably referring to this.
