As a person with a visual impairment having no dub option is really a dealbreaker. I will simply not be capable of keeping up otherwise. Its the exact reason I have not played any of the SAO games or any of the recent Furyu releases. The worst reasont case though is Batenkaitos remastered where they literally deleted a allready existing dub from existence! I really was looking forward to that game and now I am forced to play it emulatod to use a fanmade dub mod despite me wanting to buy it initially.
The Anya game I also find quite bad considering this is made for a 7+(from the trailer 12+ on my local retailer) audience how do you expect 7 year old children to be good anoth at reading subtitles to keep up with a game that isn't voiced in there language. Its very dum especially becouse they will absolutely limit sails by doing this. But hey maybe they will pull a My hero once justice 2 and add a dub in post. I am not holding my breath though.
In fact, by speaking the way you are, you are being COMPLETELY Ignorant, Considering you are:
1. FORCING your Opinions down Peoples' throats.
2. FORCING People to do what you Prefer.
3. NOT Acknowledging that NOT Everyone can read (Not as an insult, just as a Reminder there are People, like a Sister of mine, Who have Trouble reading, and I have a Brother Who is Blind in one eye).
4. NOT Acknowledging that NOT Everyone wants to spend more Time reading SubTitles and less Time watching the Anime (Anyone Who thinks True Anime Lovers prefer Sub are Weeaboos and Tourists).
5. The SubTitles are there FOR the Hearing-Impaired (Not as an Insult).
6. If you want to talk about Cringe, take a look at your Username.
In fact, both Demon Slayer and Spy x Family ARE Super Popular, so they could also give Spy x Anya: Operation Memories English Dubbing, aswell...
Besides, this is a New Generation, they know by now not Everyone is into Sub and is, instead, into Dub.
Like I said there is a chance especially if its not too dialog heavy and expensive to dub. This isn't exactly a high budget release, I always keep my expectations low on these anime based games.
Exactly right! I don't get whats the battle between Dub and Sub specifically to do with anime? Also I think people don't even consider the fact that there are literal other voice actors doing all different languages for these Anime's. They do a tremendous job with just the material of the original Japanese version which isn't even their language and they can still portray the story and the emotions like the original. So I agree with you that how is Dubbed ever cringe.
Plus, in Nikke, where Anis literally barks at Privaty, Anis actually sounds like a literal dog, when barking at Privaty, with Her English Voice.
