Can you actually use the Trench gun Bayonet?

I earn the bayonet for my trench gun. (Shot gun) Is it just for show? or can I actually use it.. If I can, how?

yes i used it... and it shows it with u stabbing / kill the soilder
i only seen one type action kill * short.. not like a killcam

it goes fast.. close up..dont recall if there was *mele button i pushed ;D
i taken screenshot of it... but i thought i try get a better 1 / angle
before i load it

..and yes i used the "kill" // mele - option thats popped up
standing... like not sneak up behind... then it be knife / or else type mele kill

Calm face, for someone with a bayonet in 'em. Also, looks kinda like the bayonet also shaves enemy's heads?

Anyway, reminder for jimrcopeland that the bayonet gets a melee kill on Jagers, who normally block melee kills when they are not taken unaware.

calm as u can be on hot day dreaming looking out on nice view
and as i say this is a FAST happening... he still in dreamland... but that changes when i pull that bayonet out,, snap and then he dead

and even if that bayonet is wicked sharp u wouldent have the skill set to clean shave he head unless u hold it in u hand

Yeah I use it a lot...Harry shoves it in and then gives it a twist before pulling out....nice.
You approach an enemy with the shotgun drawn and simply use the close mellee takedown command.

It enables frontal takedown (both lethal and non lethal) on elite unit ( Fallschirmjäger, Gaswaffen, Elite Sniper and any character player control, though you cant non lethal take down a player control character), without it elite unit will block frontal takedown.

the population of elite unit in resistance is much less that that in sniper elite 5.
