Error Code - Sniper Elite Resistance

Welcome. I bought Sniper Elite Resistance yesterday and played it until mission 3 or 4. Today when I tried to play again, I got the message "Failed to initialise D3D12 - Error Code 887A0004". Has anyone else had this problem? How was it resolved?

Es triste que un juego de tal envergadura sea incapaz de solucionar sus problemas ANTES DE SU LANZAMIENTO, y aun mas triste que su respuesta sea "Levanta un ticket de soporte"... Rebellion, No hace falta tener un IQ alto para saber que el problema no viene de los usuarios, si muchos usuarios estamos teniendo el mismo problema, entonces el problema es de uastedes... decir "Levanta un ticket de soporte" es una grosería cuando incuso algunos gastaron su plata con acceso anticipado...

I get the same message, straight after they updated and it all downloaded onto my pc. I have uninstalled and re-instaled, but exactly the same problem. My pc can easily play all these games, so I don't want to hear from them I need to update or buy more of anything. I played this game all the way through and killed Hitler too before their wonderful update. This problem was caused by their update! Fix it Rebelion, such a lot of money for a game you messed up.

Bonjour, c'est inadmissible. Plusieurs jours que je suis bloqué pour cause D3D12 code 887A0004. Je ne suis pas le seul. Que faites vous pour pour nous assurer un accés à vos jeux ?

Totally agree. It worked for me prior to the update and I finished the campaign and dlc. Now I cannot play after the update and it should still work for me after the update. The requirements for playing the game should not change update to update.

Tras la actualización de 18 de febrero el error persiste. ¿Rebellion va a solucionarlo o no? Esperaré unos días una necesaria actualización y luego solicitaré reembolso.

Even after yesterday's update and validating the install, the error is still displaying. This error is still appearing even when starting the game with async unchecked. Please let us know if this will be fixed or not.

Agreed, I too am still receiving the error message after their 11 gb "update". One thing you can try is when un-checking the async compute, try to also to change your GPU Selection. Sometimes that will get the game to load, though, you may take a graphical hit, but it should be playable until a fix comes around.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately changing the gpu does not get it to start either. Waiting for Rebellion to fix it.

They`ll not fix it. Propably you are using the old graphics card wchich is not compatible with DirectX 12.1 library.

po aktualizacji ,mam ten sam problem !!! Przed aktualizacja gralem 24h i 30min - po aktualizacji „Failed to initialise D3D12 - Error Code 887A0004” 50 Euro w śmieci. Wstyd !!!

How do you explain that the game went very well when I first installed it? The next day it didn't start and that error message appeared. Many players complain about the same problem. On the other hand, it doesn't seem normal to me to come up with a bunch of updates but not solve a major problem.

Also when you exit to desktop the game freezes so i have to restart my pc everytime it happens

Plus some of us were able to finish the single player campaign prior to the first update without any issues. Then after the update and following updates are not able to play due to the error message. Furthermore since exceeded the 2 hour limit, unable to get any type of refund for the game from Steam.

My first post is the answer for your question. We`re riding the same cart.
I have to finish campaign with my integrated Intel graphics with low fps, when Rebellion cut off older Nvidia cards where game runs perfectly (without DirectX 12.1 FL) and telling US that we "do not fullfill minimal requirements"
