Error Code - Sniper Elite Resistance

Welcome. I bought Sniper Elite Resistance yesterday and played it until mission 3 or 4. Today when I tried to play again, I got the message "Failed to initialise D3D12 - Error Code 887A0004". Has anyone else had this problem? How was it resolved?

I get the same error message as well. Never recall having it in SE5. Finished SER Campaign and DLC without having this issue. Occurred after trying to start the game after updating it.

or Steam maybe
or an SE:R game triggered error

I have the same problem, SE4 and SE5 is starting normally.

D3D12 error is a Direct3D/DirectX12 error. Likely today's patch which supposedly had graphics improvements wasn't full tested (not surprised!).

Submitted a ticket for it to Rebellion and response was my pc did not meet minimum specs. Well I played over 24 hours on it without crashing prior to your update from yesterday. Also finished the campaign and dlc mission. Played SE5 for over 100 hours with same pc and never any issues. So disappointed in Rebellion.

Bonjour. J'ai acheté Sniper Elite Resistance il y à quelques jours et j'y ai joué 12 heures jusqu'à la mission 3 ou 4. Lors de la reprise du jeux, après une mise à niveau, j'ai reçu le message "Échec de l'initialisation de D3D12 - Code d'erreur 887A0004". J'ai alors chargé un pilote reçent sur ma carte graphique, puis j'ai enlever et remis le jeux sur mon ordinateur, et toujours le même problème. Avez-vous une autre solution?

Lenovo Y700 with Intel HD520 and GTX960M. I could play on 960M before update. Now situation is something like that. I can run the game on Intel but can`t play (because of performance) and can`t run the game Nvidia (played 25fps smoothly before). All because of what.... DirectX? Go and buy a new hardware because of DirectX? Cmon
