If only SE5 or Resistance now had a more detailed stats page... like total career stats, mission stats, invasions stats... accuracy, number of headshots, heart shots, liver shots etc ;-)
Will Rebellion still fix the newly introduced bug (with the last patch) in SE 5 that prevents the barebones mission summary with the graph that would tell you how stealthy or lethal etc you are from displaying after all non DLC missions (and mission 9 where it is pointless) --- or is SE5 abandoned now and this bug will not be fixed?
34:4 as invader.
The invader loses were mostly to people abusing landmines and camping in spots where you have to hit mines to get there. Seems to be meta maybe ?
I also load non-lethal at close range whenever I get invaded as Resistance and Explosive in long range when invaded and save them for that since its very hard for invader to deal with explosive at range and the non-lethal pretty much instant knock out at close so there isnt anything in the invader arsenal that can counter that currently. I've only used mines twice and it was because I was like 90% sure the invader was cheating since repeated sniper shots didnt take them down so I kited them into mines which knocked 1 off the map and the other down a ladder and fall damage got him.
Silenced equipment as Resistance and taking maps slow and removing enemies from as far away as possible or from dark archways or overhangs and setting off every truck engine, motor, etc that I pass and dragging bodies into buildings or other places. Enjoyable slow methodical play taking prep time before each move forward.
As Invader if its a loud player I will go straight for them. If its a slow player I will setup in any good position i can find near npcs and turn on walk move and follow an NPC around and treat it like the old Assassins Creed mode where you have to blend in with NPCs. If it goes poorly or I dont end up seeing them and they complete the objective through a different route I move to the next one and repeat and if it gets to the last one I dont go there but setup near the closest exit since pretty much every single player always uses the closest exit. I've only ever had 1 guy not go to closest exit. For two man teams You down one and then get into as concealed a position as possible and wait for them to be revived. If they have self rez you tap them with silenced pistol in the knee or foot to stop them so they wait for the second player then when the second player starts to revive you head tap them and your done. Two players is actually easier then 1 in most cases since they almost always go loud and very few teams of 2 are good about staying super close together and will often be at least 30 feet or more apart. If your in an enclosed area and you down one you use use grenades from a concealed position rather then head tapping since they may see you and stop.
I avoid phones as much as possible unless all the still-active zones are untouched for a few minutes straight. Then I know the Res-player is going to camp it out or rat so have to use a phone. If they use one on me then I will trap the area I was in when they used it and move outside of the area and wait for them. If I don't get a clean shot I let them walk into the trapped area. If I do I take it.
AXIS SMG is all about power since none of their SMGs can beat the ROF of the Res.
Rifle changes around a bit based on how "Clicky" I'm feeling that day.
Pistol is always a suped Luger simply because I'm used to them after the last game.
Resistance I use Subsonic ammo and high power rifle with silencer against npcs when invaded. Lee, 1886 or M1 depending on mood and map.
I use the ERMA & the High-Power Pistol if Im solo and the Revolver if I'm with friends because they tend to do stupid stuff a lot of the time.
This game has some fantastic invade mechanics. Better then last one for the Resistance side but worse for the invader. Last game the Invader felt like they had the better stuff at their disposal. Though resistance could still use a Ghillie Suit option again.
I'm curious what other people with good win ratios use ? Please provide your own weapons and tactics you use below.
