But maybe you are worried about other kind of threats?
The issue with client-side anti cheat is, that the cheater is in theory in charge of the client side, not the installer of Denuvo. Using kernel-level and DRM technique, maybe it's hard to bypass, but basically there is a million ways to bypass anything, because you can literally shape the entire system towards bypassing that very software. Of course it may very well be, that only one dude manages to after two years of trying.
Mainly anti cheat software belongs onto the server-side, but that needs extra resources spent, and brains and a server side in the first place (rather than a relay similar to p2p).
And that's also where i am a little bit sceptical about Denuvo, because i doubt that it is crafted towards preventing cheats specifically for this game series, instead focuses on detection of tampering with the game (code/memory), by employing the technique of tampering with your computer software.
Can't imagine they'll be around indefinitely if THIS is their product.
