Philo Beck Glitch

I never got the dialog with Beck being angry about the rats (saw it in a YT video when I tried to find out about a possible glitch), and when I place the rat bomb at the designated spot behind the bar Beck never triggers it, he just stays in front of the bar. Trying to lead him to or over the rat with whistling outside the building doesn't work. I can kill him, just not with the rat bomb.

try some different angles he needs the dialog to go off to start moving.
could also be that you placed the rat to fast.
Also if he is in the cautious state then he doesn't talk if you dont sneak to him without raising the alarm he doesn't start the dialog.

Thanks for the tips, I'll keep that in mind if or when I'll replay - I ended up just killing him and moved on.
