Propaganda Missions

Am I the only one that thinks this is one of the worst modes that exist in any sniper game?

It's antithetical to the very nature of sniping, rushing around playing an arcade score chasing game with weapons you can't even customise. Lame in the extreme.

I did each mission once. Never ever again, what a colossal waste of time, even if each mission is super short. Only did it for the unlocks.
Yes, this has no place in SE. Survival is different, it's for the Rambo in us, here you can test your loadout, each mission takes about 45-60 minutes, you can also be strategic etc. So it's worth doing and can be lots of fun. And you can play co-op as well. But Propaganda is such a weird addition. What were they thinking? You can't choose your character, your weapon, nothing... the missions are equally boring and annoying.

yeah i barly test it a couple turns on normal difficulty
kill 20 with a minut.. get to a score - bronze - silver - gold -
pretty grindy... for me to TAG that Steam achivement...

to get all propaganda /poster mission to Gold on Authentic... huuh
as i sees it now,,, i not looking forward to it ;D
i dont know maybe i somewhat changes my mind,,, in time ?

some where in the line of get all Steam Achevement tagged
be for sometime in the future,,, when all the DLC map's has arrived

looks like those 7 be all... bit odd.. as 1 of those is kill Adolf DLC...
take away map 1 and 9 it be 7 reg. map mission... maybe i'm mission one ?
*i'll find out when i play trough all maps to clutch up on collectables

and there also might be to 2 more with the deluxe /seasonpass 2 DLC ?

so it's a possible total 0f 10... i dont know, thought maybe i have all ?

i can give u one hint.... if you any close a poster....
u will hear the sound of like u hold a poster (bit thick) in the corner's
and make up and down waves with it... *if that makes any sence

like u can test holding a regular A4 sheet in one hand and make waves
and u get the essence of what i saying ;D

I still don't know how to find these posters. Additionally, challenges irritate me
1/ I planted a rat bomb - the German didn't want to pick it up or kick it and I used various methods to get him to go away from the counter where the trap was
2/ another challenge - how to throw a German off a dam? I tried to put him to sleep and get him off but it's not possible (???)
.... interestingly enough, I can throw ordinary soldiers over the barrier

and in my mind after testing it..it be for the future to tag that Steam Achivment
get gold /score. on Authentic hehe

The rat bomb was a challenge in the mission "Contact Box"

killed those 2 around him... from default spawn,, then i sneak in *norml difficulty
ready to knock him out...

but then when he was out on that platform
i just shot the platform pipes and down he went..dident need to knok him
= tagged /complete the kill challenge/ unlocked the M1 Garrand

that also explains the inviceable walls... = "trow him off" aint the correct way to do it ;D

I see no problem in having a mode that is different from the normal gameplay, but I still am not very interested in them. It's a bonus.

The problem I have with SE:R is that there isn't really much in terms of innovation other than this. The gameplay is like that of 5, and that's good, but I wish they had just added a bit more to keep it fresh.

i went in to TAG the rat bomb "kill challenge"
killing the infamous partisan hunter - Jæger officer "Philo Beck" with a Rat Bomb....
first try i kill him...but
i somewhat made a tiny (mouse) error place-ing a teller mine on the rat markt spot

Agreed - did not enjoy the propaganda missions and they felt like they didn't belong. This was a really unimaginative addition to the game. There would have been better ways to have implemented this - the player could have been a really weak, unskilled partisan using guerrilla tactics to overcome much stronger occupation forces. The timed element just felt totally out of place.
