Surprisingly buggy
Love the basic gameplay (well, it is Sniper Elite, that's what we are here for) but I am surprised at the bugs. Dialogues cut out, crowbars do not register into the inventory, sometimes the screen just fails come up although the game starts etc.

I since it is basically a prolonged DLC on top of SE5 engine, I expected better, tech-wise.

Bugs are peculiar, because not all experience them. The only bugs I have found are related to movement mostly... In one mission there is a one way stair, you can walk it up, but you can't walk down again (mission 5 Devil's Cauldron inside the main facility), you hit some invisible wall at the bottom of it or so.

Sometimes Harry can get a bit stuck while crouch walking on top of the stairs, one time Harry had the hardest time to crawl through a vent and I had to try and try and try again, he would always stand up once you try to enter the vent, in one map Harry would somewhat sink into the ground when crouch walking, preventing him from using a nearby zipline, you have to stand up, walk away, reapproach the zipline, then it works.

One weapoon attachment gives the exact same stats and has the same description as some other attachment even though it's obvious it should not.

One bug that is very annoying is the constant stuttering. Something is wonky with the performance of this game.

Let's hope there'll be a patch tomorrow or so that resolves at least the stuttering issues.

I've got a strange one where whenever you hit a hat/helmet and see if fly off. They're then still wearing it....
It's all the same SE 5 bugs, which... is a bit egregious. I'm having a great time with the game, I think the maps are great (though not nearly populated with enough baddies), but the fact that they didn't fix *any* bugs from SE 5 is ridiculous, including some new ones (Mission 7's hedgerows are apparently invisible to the 3rd reich being an example).

I'm okay with it so long as they actually fix these bugs, because the game itself is still really fun, but this is a fairly sloppy showing for a 'new' release.
Most funny bug... a few Germans, when they are alerted, suddenly start spinning like the craziest multiplayer spinner, only on meth :-D They are forever stuck in this spinning routine until you relieve them of their suffering with a nice bullet... a few other times enemies would spawn in the same spot, i.e. one enemy is standing within the other and they are super easy pickings.

Whatever happened to QC.... they did not only not bother to fix old bugs they knew about... they introduced all new bugs to change things up a bit! :-D

In the DLC mission I fell through the map, at least I could climb up into the real world again... and after an alert the reinforcements were locked in a room, that now had two doors, one open, the other still closed. You could hear them, you could even kill them with a sticky grenade to the door... but really now...

Laying landmines that disapear ... so you can't destruct moving vehicels ...

And when you load a saved game and go to a vehicel you destroid, you still hear a running motor ...

Few of the bugs I noticed were stutters when walking stairs. armour piercing ammo not piercing (emptied a whole clip on the grill of a truck, nothing) and a soldier stuck in a loop when investigating a sabotaged generator.

This is why your game has bugs. instead of doing the work yourself and having someone read through what people are saying on forums you want us to write up an entire report for your lazy programmers. Or maybe just play the damn game you are trying to sell? one playthrough and you would see most of these bugs.

They can copy/paste the forum posts, and create reports on their system indeed. But then again, it is not practical and efficient. You just expecting them sit on forums and copy thousands of forum posts 24/7, that would be very bad system management lol.

They have one of the slackest QA teams around, and I was thinking the same thing.

I find it extremely hard, nearly impossible to believe that not a single person at the studio knew about the walking up and down stairs bugs or all those mentioned above plus whatever everyone will be finding today.

Also, for SE5, I rigorously and thoroughly reported every bug through their site and only a couple out of the many were ever addressed over a 2 year period, so it seems fairly pointless to report them.
