Heavy stuttering after playing for a while!!!

Never had any issues with SE4/5 and always ran Ultra settings @2K but this one is stuttering like crazy at some point after playing, random lags and they are very bad. Anyone else having the same issue?? The game runs very smooth after playing for a while starts stuttering. My rig: i7-14700K - RTX 4070 Ti - 32 GB DDR5

Same here on a 3080 which ought to more than handle this engine. It runs over 100fps for a good while then starts stuttering like mad after maybe 2 hours.

A friend of mine with nearly the same system doesn't have problems.

For me the game at 1440p with maxed out textures exceeds 12GB vram, which will induce severe stutters on 12GB cards in same way as base SE5 also did exceed on some maps 8GB Vram maxed out at 1080p causing similar problem three years ago when 8gb cards were pretty much commonplace.

Not expecting rtx 4090 to have that exact problem but for everyone else i'd recommend monitoring VRAM usage and checking whether the issue persists with textures set to low or whether that makes the problem appear later.

I also experience stuttering. It's not "terrible", but very annoying, fortunately it happens infrequently and not all the time. I wonder what happened, because 5 runs super smooth on my system.

Submitted to player support, looks like it's a memory leak issue. 12 GB VRAM is more than enough for 2K so i don't think that's the issue. Someone also said they are having issues with 4090 and it has 24GB VRAM so it's the issue with the game itself.

I had the same issues with a high end rig but I might have found the culprit. I turned off mouse and keyboard lighting in accessibility settings and my game runs like a dream. IDK if it'll work for others but its worth a shot :)

Yeah that was the main culprit, either uninstalling Razer Synapse or turning off M/B lighting, either one works.

I have uninstalled all "Razer" software (synapse was installed for webcam) after finding in another forum that removing this cured the issue.

Since doing this I have had a full mission with no stuttering of any kind, not even micro-stutters which were part of the problem.

It was also suggested that turning off the keyboard/mouse lighting option fixed the issue without the need to uninstall but as I have fully uninstalled I cannot test this for you. Hope this helps.

I disabled the keyboard/mouse lighting option, razer software is still installed.
result: until now no more stuttering. I've played 5 missions and one multiplayer map. seems to work. Hope this helps

lighting options already greyed out for me, no razer software installed, this also happens with SE5 after say an hour of play. Only thing that solves it is a full restart of p.c.
