At the average difficulty level, if you go through the story missions (without additional missions), the game runs +- in 3 hours. Roughly speaking, there are 7 missions in the game (we don't count the first one with the dam, and the last ninth one where you need to kill one opponent). Total: 7 missions in 3 hours, 15-20 minutes for each Carl! And I'm still silent about the deluxe version, I still don't have the game available for pre-order, there was a preload of +- 650 MB - is that a pistol skin from the deluxe version?! Hello, developer - what's going on?!

well if you think about it pvp would not really work with the SE 4 system every time you die to a invader you would need to start over now the pvp is an addition instead of a big maybe game over if you stealth the lvl and then you need to fight with an other player and the enemy ai bumrushing you

The issue isn't length most likely as i assume it just depends on how you want to play it.

But you're paying 50 bucks for a project based in literal 90% off something already made and sold for same 50$ to you three years ago.
Same engine, same AI, mostly same assets, same sounds and so on and so forth.

So to justify that, it should've had same if not more content compared to the product it's clearly based on, not less.

I've played SE:5 for like a week. Can clear some authentic missions in 30 minutes or so. There are 8 of them so that would already be 4 hours of gameplay, doing a full flex-stealth run. Playing like this sorta forces you to stay on the move, and turn around enemies a lot. Meaning they go where you were, all the time, with proper map knowledge.

With the right starting locations, and doing fast hit-and-run mission objectives. You could finish most missions between 15-25 minutes. Some faster, some a little longer.

Fastest speedrun of Sniper Elite 5 is 30 minutes. Will we have some screaming piglet in steam discussions if someone knew the inhouse speedrun of the devs, going below an hour? The answer is yes.

This post felt like teenager panic, someone young. These games last as long as you enjoy taking your time within it. If you want to go as fast as possible, you can go pretty fast. But are you playing Rambo, or Sniper Elite. The playbox allows everything, the game is designed for snipers.
