Is anybody able to ghost kill with pistol this patch?

This was working just fine a couple of days ago. Now my non-lethal knockdowns and executions with pistol does not give the ghost kill score event. So cant get gold on my pistols anymore.

probably DEVs just taken away that ability

lowest possible audio range on the pistol used... and soft tip ammo
+ be VERY steathy... find one spot u think be good for it ...
SAVE and make u kills.. and relaod SAVE.. maybe an idea :D

Same for me. It does not seem to be random, it just does
not work anymore...i also tried on difficulty EASY!

Nope something changed the stealth propaganda missions are nigh on impossible now you don’t get extra time. Found this out trying to complete Das Spook ☹ hope it gets sorted soon.

The bug of it not recognizing stealth kills on Propaganda to give you the bonus 30 seconds has been reported multiple times in Discord in the bug reports channel, and one of those bug reports has an acknowledgement by the community moderator that it has been passed on to the development teams for review.

"Guardian of the Ponies" alias on Discord has discovered a workaround though for now until Rebellion addresses this bug. You can run or walk at the enemy before you do the melee takedown (rather than staying crouched) it will give you the 30 second bonus. I was able to use that workaround to get done the last propaganda mission I hadn't yet completed.

This bug was introduced by the patch 18.02.2025 released on Tuesday.

i just test.. first Propaganda poster... and it actually non ghostkill on the 2 first soilders
authentic or very easy - dosent matter....
i'm 100% sure i allways gets ghost kills when i mele kill those 2...
so u all right something / new patch seems to broken it
i test the next poster "Sniper" and i gained explotion kill secounds there though...

The way how ghost kills work is with the sound meters the gun shot can be heard, you have a suppressor and max sound range is 50 meters, if you shoot a lone enemy beyond 50 meters then it counts as ghost kill cuz he didnt hear the shot, if you shoot the same lone enemy under 50 meters then the guy you killed heard the shot and it doesnt count.....its busted mechanism i know but there is a way around it, just pacify the guy and when he is ko-ed then shoot him and it will count as ghost kill.
Also make sure that the guy you shoot isnt suspicious of your presence, when the white, yellow, red starts to fill up as it also cancels the ghost kill.
This is also the case for propaganda missions but you can get ghost kill and +extra time if you knife the guy.

the problem is that alot people dont get.. register any Ghost kill no matter what
in even some in regular game play ,,
or as in that post,, i just made,,, Propaganda poster mission tasks has issues

where i try some i done many times before "MELE KILL" the 2 first in my path
but this time ... they dident get register with a ghost kill = it's bugged

and TOMMY says "The team is currently investigating this."

= we know how ghost kill's work...
- high grass - long distance - soft tip bullets - sneak up with a mele kill - and so on :D
just that it's somehow somewhat buggged

so at this stage ...
some of the 7 + DLC Propaganda poster medals seems impossible to get done
and the same for the 7 Pistol /revolver .... 50 ghost kills,,, is with an issue / bugged

So you say but i bet you doing it wrong, i keep getting ghost kills and i managed to get 3 star on all propaganda.
Dont belive me? Check my achievments, "propagandist: complete all propaganda with 3 stars"

Unlike you i have work and dont spend 24/7/360 behind my pc grinding achievments, like seriously 1000+ hours in almost evey game....dude find a job or touch some grass, go out or something..... on one hand im impressed that you got so much hours and 100% achievments but on the other hand its a waste of time...

gratulate with achivement and that u spesiel and have a job.. well done

apart from that:

i'm wth 21 years of service with my Steam Client - 1500 games
some few games i past 1000 hrs
last 3 years it been alot Axis invation SE 5 (good fun)

but what i do and dont do in private life u wouldent be close to know..hehe
annyhow.. i dont have to defend my self on that.. i'm all good

just like u dont have to defend that u got an
1 VAC ban on record 81 day(s) since last ban
