Sell page against steam Rules.
Since last year there are new rules regarding DLC especially Season passes.

-A complete list of all DLC included in the Pass. (e.g. listing each of the four DLCs included in a Pass).

-A basic description of the content that’s included in each DLC. For example, the first content release might be “The Glitterlands Expansion – New area to explore, two new weapons, and new enemies.” It’s not required for the DLC to have a final name at the launch of the Season Pass. The information about the content in the DLC doesn’t need to be detailed (simply “new weapons” or “two new weapons” is acceptable, they don’t have to list the exact weapons).

-Expected release date for each DLC. Quarter and Year (e.g. January to March 2025) or Season/Year is acceptable. Of course, a date that’s more precise is also fine (e.g. June, 2025 or June 1st, 2025).

None off this is actually on the store page, it just says season pass included.

Rebellion effectively circumventing this by using the deluxe edition option, as putting an actuall season pass entry gives you these rules to adhere too. When releasing on steam if you use deluxe edition option, you dont need to actually add them because steamworks doesn't ask for it.

As it is a different entry.

This is also done because if you release as pre-purchase, the season pass will go into pre purchase mode. After the game releases it then also releases and you are obligated to release the first DLC at the same time with the base game. (of course that would look weird).

*Including a Season Pass in a Deluxe/Premium Edition of Your Game

You can include a Season Pass in a Deluxe or other premium edition of your game.

To do this, you'll need to create the Season Pass DLC using the same steps outlined in this documentation page. Once it has been created, you can add the Season Pass DLC app to the Deluxe package.

You must ALSO add all of the individual DLCs contained in the Season Pass as they are released.

This is very important, because if you don't add the individual DLCs to the package (in addition to the Season Pass) customers won't gain access to the DLCs they purchased in this Deluxe edition when they are released.*

See what i mean?

Report 'em. Even beyond Steam's update rules, it's disingenuous to expect people to be throwing down for DLC without the actual content being revealed.
Chances are the new rules won’t apply to this game as it was listed before they were made. Usually in that situation listings existing before the new rules are exempt from the new rules

Apparently there are people with more money than they know what to do with. Paying $30 just to play the game two days earlier is ridiculous

The rules apply retroactively and is in effect for every single game.

... to play a buggy game, remind you. Some people just love to be beta testers and now they even pay for it.

Please show where it says ots retroactive, as that would be a clusterF just waiting to happen and would be hell for valve to police and enforce

It applies to all games at the moment, and no where does it say that previous release dlc or games are excluded.

A season pass has to be uphold to the rules currently, which they are not.

The clusterf is already happening hence the rules. Developer do not want to have respect to gamers or the industry so valve has to do it for them.

Actually they dont, not enough at least to satisfy the new rules. Saying 3x missions is not enough anymore.

HOWEVER these rules dont apply to deluxe editions of the game which is why it's fine and the OP is having a melt down. Which is also why they havent put the season pass up for sale yet on its own

The deluxe edition comes with the season pass, just saying this is the reason i bought it. The 2 days early access is just a bonus. I bet most people bought it for that too.

Actually no. It just says season pass included

Even then you need to tell when it comes with a general date not more then a quarter (for example Q1 2026) And are only allowed to change that yourself once for a maximum of 3 months ahead.

If you don't provide you need to refund every single person straight away.

Rebellion has taken it's queue from Ubisoft to confuse the F@@@ out of you for which version you buy, bad business model for customers but good for their investors, cuz you will buy the crap you missed on original purchase, cuz gamers have been hooked and are impulsive and they know it.
