Resident Evil 5: RE5DX9.EXE - Fatal Application Exit
(i) E_FAIL : XLiveInitialize(&xii)

That's basically the message I get when I want to start up the game either on DX9 or DX10. Is there a solution to this or what? What's happening with Live recently?

Your antivirus program probably detected it as virus, add the folder to exception and also verify game integrity should fix it.
