Impossible to connect to coop partner
seriously what the heck?! Even little indie games get that to work so how can a "big" game be so unbelievable dumb? Some people will buy this because of the coop.. which doesn't work i somehow just feel fooled : <

I just googled for hours and tried different stuff like port forwarding etc.. but nothing worked.
Pretty damn sad.

Oh, hi Dave Oct 11, 2013 @ 7:48pm
I've never had a problem with it. How are you trying to connect to eachother and what happens?

Have the host start a new game & then invite through GFWL, it should work.

I thought so as well but we always get that error "game session has been cancelled". In different forums i read about a kind of trainer fix with hamachi/tunngle but i'm not willed to accept that this could be the only solution.

Not a great addition to steam. Coop is a joke, keep getting disconncted from Live, over a dozen times, sound didnt work, key bindings did not set. I have played left for dead 1 and 2 dead island etc with no problems coop, but this game is a joke. I am not touching capcom or xbox live again.

I think I got a solution to get it working with GFWL!

Another friend never had such problems with connecting so I asked him after his network settings. in his GFWL -> settings -> network it says: NAT open, UPnP in use... in my settings (not working) I only can find NAT moderate, UPnP not available... So I'm pretty sure you need to configure your router that way, hope that helped some others :) (guess it works if at least one of you got those settings because i did not have any problems to connect to this other friend)

Many O2 routers seems not to have that option to activate UPnP or change something with that NAT type : <
