Weapons not unlocking

my save got wiped somehow, no problem i love the game so i beat it again. 100% complete all chapters, and all my weapons are fully upgraded, but im not getting S&W 500 mag, or the hydra etc. whats going on?

I have the heavy metal outfit, and the fairy tale outfit, but no minigun, bow, or other unlockable weapons, and yes all the other weapons are max, i have completed all chapters on all difficulties. I also have both mercenaries modes, and the other DLC done as well

If you done everything right and still not avalible to buy theese items, i can help you with that by giveing them to you.

You try verifying your game files? Maybe you have corrupt files or something that's glitching your game.

Also, have you been running any mods or using a trainer?

Let me reset my save, and do it again. I read somewhere that resetting save manually, and then beating it again can help sometimes. I dont mind because i love this game, and will play it over and over again no problems lol. if that doesn't work then i would love some trades

Yes i use ultimate trainer to swap models to wesker, and to replace my spacebar to "rollforward (dodge)"

i havent beat the game yet, and its already working, just upgraded the frist mag all the way, and i got the s&w 500, so this is weird, i remember having to beat the game, and upgrade the weapons, but i can confirm that manually resetting your save works. The fix i used is this one "go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\"your id"\21690\remote and move your save file out somewhere else. click top left of steam and go offline or it will try to reload the save that you dont have and not work etc. start the game in steam's offline mode, make a new save file and quit at the main menu. go back online and you should be fine to start completing the game again, upgrade each weapon and things should work

So in short, starting new save file did helped you to unlock theese weapons.

Yes, to be specific, if your save gets corrupt, dont just restart from there, completely remove the save file the way i previously stated, and manually start a whole new save.

hi, i like to know....will the ultimate trainer cause weapon unlock problem?
i just start play this game, and i want use this trainer to adjust camera and add laser on guns, but if trainer will cause weapon unlock problem...maybe i won't use it.

I did make new save file few months ago (before update)
And i was testing something or noteing things, durring that i used Ult.Trainer and all weapons unlocking to was totally fine.
Idk , maby cloud data problem, or other things idk.
But i did helped few users by manually giveing them the weapons whitch unlocked them in shop.

Its old game, old crappy messy engine whitch need polishing or totally new rebuild to order work propetly in 2023+ and stuff idk , im not expert, im an idiot.

I would love capcom to keep going in this direction of remakes, and hopefully they remake 5 so that we dont need patches, and mods to get a working game with modern engine/gameplay etc. I think the remakes are pretty good, just not as good as the OG 2-4, just my opinion
