Weapons in Desperate Escape

Does anybody know if weapons in Desperate Escape are randomly generated or if they're just defined by difficulty settings? I've played through this two times on Veteran and once on Professional, and didn't find the Magnum nor the PSG rifle, but it's weird because still at some points there is Magnum and Rifle ammo so I don't really understand how it works, can this two weapons be obtained in Vet or Pro or they just appear on Easy/Normal?

I don't really mind the Magnum but not having a sniper rifle makes some tasks really annoying, like you have to kill the Majinis mounting on turrets from far away with a SMG or a handgun, wasting time and bullets because it's quite hard to aim at that distance, and you have to kill three guys per turret.

It's just random. When I played last on Pro I ended up with 2 magnums, 2 rifles, and no shotgun. Depending on your playstyle (and whether you're playing alone), you can give Josh a powerful handgun and he'll snipe the turrets with it in 1 or 2 shots.

i found, one magnum, 3 sniper rifles, 2 pistols, no shotgun. on vet..

It seems to be random.

I had 3 freaking RPGs spawn one time.

Made the game freaking hard, cause we had to basically rely on our pistols, a magnum and a lousy shotgun the whole game.

Altho it made the final battle "bosses" (the minigunners and chainsaw dudes) really pathetically easy, as we discharged our RPGs at them.
