How can I play with ps3 controller ?

I wanna play with my ps3 controller... but I don't know how to play

I use a free program called DS3 tool, heres a video of how to get it and use it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLgdMihgbzA. But its pretty simple, plug in a PS3 controller to your computer, run the program, hit enable, and now it works for the game. The program makes steam think you're using an Xbox 360 controller, so all button prompts and button mapping in the game will look like 360 buttons, so things that say X are really Square and so on. But I've gotten used to it and it works for every game I've tried with it.

For gfwl there was a mod that change x360 buttons to these from playstation 2/3. And you can always try a program called x360ce, i use it to play on my ps2 gamepad before.

x360ce works like a charm for me, it's the only thing I got to work on Win8.1. The other tools either didn't work at all or only had limited support. Then you just gotta learn the 360 controller button layout or find a mod that changes the on-screen promts to PS3's buttons.
