Save location

were is my save and progress location i would like to start over fresh but have my save backed up just in case. so were do i find the save files its not in my documents folder.


UPDATE: i got my game working all i had to do was edit the save file in not pad and erase a couple lines then the game thinks its damaged and i can make anew one.

I just tested it and it is the savedata of RE5. When I put it on my desktop and start the game it cant find the savedata and suggests to make a new one so it should be the savefile.

ok so i removed the savedata.bin and now the game tells me failed to load save data try again if i dont load save data i cant save at all it says.

The location of the save directory is correct. However, I am wondering why a save file that I got from a friend in Norway(I'm in the US) does not work, despite simply copying and pasting it in the same folder? Be advised his save file is from a *NEW* game started on the new RE Gold Edition, not from the previous version. Still doesn't work though. Any ideas?

Move Copy And Or Delete Old Save.
Then restart steam OFFLINE "disconnect" from internet where it cannot
download old file, it will ask to create new one.
