Can't Upgrade Weapons Co-op Mode

Hello, I have an issue when I play Co-op, and don't finish a chapter. My weapons dosen't unlock Upgrade. I don't know if it's only when I begun an Co-op in the middle of the chapter, but, i'm already on chapter 1-3 with Sheva and I cannot upgrade my weapons.

Please, Help-me here! D:

But, every time I play in the middle or, have conection lost and re enter on the same game session, I'll finish with no rank. So, if I'll have conection lost in the end of chapter, when I play again on the same session, I'll don't have a rank. I'll never got my upgrades this way. D: I mean, that has never happened with me before in GFWL. D:

I was having the same issue. It does occur from starting mid chapter. You cannot start a game by pressing continue. The host needs to select a chapter and have Sheva join in item management, no later. When my brother and I tried this, achievements, upgrade trees and ranks popped for both of us. Kind of sucks, but it's nice to know a solution.

To anyone finding this through Google like I just did: the problem should resolve itself if you just play through a chapter with your co-op partner. Then when you get to the buy screen next you should be able to upgrade.

Nope :) not for me at least.
