Resident Evil 5
Outline on Character Model and World Objects
Anybody else see a weirld black thick outline over the character models and objects in the environment? Before the steam works transition this game did not look like this. After concerns with the removal of DX10 and the constant things quoted and mentioned that there is no graphical difference between the DX10 and DX9 I have to say I am hoping that this outline I am seeing every where is a glitch they intend fix. Right now it makes everything have an odd cell shade look I am not a fan of. Anybody else seeing this?

I have the same problem. Might have something to do with anti-aliasing, but haven't tested it so far.

It's a bug with the AA implementation. If you turn off AA, you don't get black outlines anymore.

Same. It's very annoying.

It reminds me of Borderlands.

Put a screenshot into bug report section.
I had this issue when was trying to force "Stereo=on" in config ini before game was mooved to steamworks.

It can also happen when you force the HDR option to HIGH in config.ini.

i barely notice that, at 1080p, but is more noticeable with 4x for example, i use 2 and is almost gone, but yeah, it shoudnt happen, same as flare bug on lots of lights

You can fix it by disabling AA ingame, and forcing it trough NVIDIA control panel, (don´t know if it works with AMD cards too).
Also changing the game resolution to 720p´ll fix a lot of graphical issues in the game, but who the hell wants to play at 720p on PC nowadays :(

Why does no one bother to upload screenshots when they report stuff like this? Pictures are worth a thousand words.

If you have stuff changed in your driver profile as well, that could affect how things are looking.

It'd be even better if you took screenshots of the SW and GFWL versions in the EXACT same location and then used www.screenshotcomparison.com to make a comparison to show it's only happening in the SW version.

I don't see how this could happen, when all they did was remove the DX10 code path and add DLC
