Failed to start game (missing executable)

This game has worked for the past 3 or 4 years that I have owned it on steam.

Now all of the sudden I am getting this message when I try to launch it:

Failed to start game (missing executable)

Any ideas?!

steamworks patch well be here today my guess we have to redownload the full game again for steamworks patch. the update delete the game files.

it well still say 103mb missing files did that myself we have to wait.

I love re5, but I am getting so anoyed with Capcom.

The patch removed all my files, so I imagine it's the same for everyone -.-

I imagine it's because the patch for the DLC files got pushed through before the steamworks patch. I'm sure it'll be all sorted out in a bit.
