Why I can't give/request weapon in single player?

Why I can not give / request weapon in single player?

I had another version of the game that I could give or require guns to my partner in single player, but this steam version, the words "request" or "give" appear dark, and you can not transfer your gun, only your grenades ammunition and herbs ...

you are aable to transfer this things but in offline, in coop that is disabled.

Yeah, this bug has been reported to wbacon and hopefully will be fixed in the next patch

if you play solo with a bot, in GFWL version its work in solo when you playing with a bot , and it must work in steam version too, but doesnt

this is suposed to work only offline playing with AI partner, not online

They said "next patch", they never specified when the patch will come XD

they already said there won't be any patches anymore because the contract with Capcom and the guys that portet the game was for 2 patches and after that Capcom would have to extend the contract (which they didn't).
Consequenz, we got a more or les useless save and achievement port tool most people don't need (and forces everyone to have GfWl installed) and a patch that broke more than it fixed...

but back to topic, if you want to trade weapons with your partner (and get rid of GfWl) you can use Maluc's RE5 Fixes. At least a fan patch that actually fixes stuff...
