Resident Evil 5 Remastered (2016)
• PlayStation 4 (PlayStation 5)
• Xbox One (Xbox Series S/X)
So they can not make a Remastered version again.
Remake or nothing are the Options Capcom have.
• Xbox One
Was mainly for higher Resolution and higher FPS if I remember it right...
First version was only 720p and 30FPS
• PlayStation 3
• Xbox 360
And Steam (PC) players can already play Resident Evil 5 in...
• 4K 60FPS, maybe higher...
• Full HD 1920x1080 120FPS, maybe even higher
• If you use Ultimate Trainer to Remove Green Filter, not use any cheat Settings,
Then you have a better version then the Remastered for Console,
Trainer also fix some Bugs and Remove Region Restriction.
One that emphasizes the good parts of 5 (Wesker using his power and position to attack Africa, it’s people, and abuse its resources. And the parallels to actual organizations that do that)
And less “yikes” material. That while probably unintended, doesn’t exactly make 5 look good (the village section, “reverting to their previous tribal state” note, Sheva tribal skin + bow, that one scene of the only blond white woman in the game being dragged into a house in the first few chapters)
Add scenes where the main characters get to sympathize with the locals, instead of just mowing them down. And you can fix RE5’s very questionable elements since the main idea of Tricell taking advantage of Africa is good
Give Sheva an actual stake in the story and influence. Cause her current backstory is just "my parents died", and then the game proceeds to mostly ignore her after.
-More sections where the characters split.
-Capcom stops tying mechanics to framerate.
-Story improvements.
-Proper fresh NG for replays.
-Replace lazy designs like fat Majini with something more scary and interesting.
-Implement the light-darkness contrast that was originally supposed to be important in the original.
-tuning up the coop experience and by that also expand the partner system, or remove it completely. No point in beating a dead dog.
-expand the faction conflicts while also fleshing the story of the parties involved on the incident, like w.a. bsaa branch and such.
-remove all those qte minigames, no exceptions.
-picking on sp Lanza, both a fresh NG and a paced NG+ that actually makes it fun to use the bonus rewards, at least on re4 level, far away from re3remake level.
-With that said, reasonable bonus rewards, and actually interesting challenges to unlock them for the people who play the game, because it's inevitable they gonna sell the cheat version...
-A improved lost in nightmares, alongside extra modes that actually explains the backstory of the other characters. They could probably make something on separate ways level here for desperate escape.
-I want to say improved extra game modes, but besides mercenaries the others are boring forced deathmatch concept designs of games of that time. Based on 4remake mercenaries it's hard to say...
-A better ending sequence as a sendoff to Wesker. No jon mctiernan action ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ again...
-Adding an actual merchant - maybe letting the man who got executed survive this time and let him be the merchant
-optional survival game mode: trade is removed - you don´t meet the merchant and only using what you pick up
-combat similar to RE4R (probably the best combat in the series) yet with interesting twists so it´s still a fresh experience
-increasing the differences between Chris and Sheva gameplay wise to increase replayability
-maybe more different interactions with the levels and/or different combat options for
each character similar to RE3R´s Jill and Carlos yet expanded
