Solo with AI, is not the best way to play it.
co-op mode with a human partner and communicate (voice call), that is the best way to experience RE5.
Long Answer: No, but you really want multiplayer cause the AI partner when you are alone can die very easily.

"On·ly"
/ˈōnlē/
adverb
1.and no one or nothing more besides; solely or exclusively.
"there are only a limited number of tickets available"
Similar: at most at best (only) just no/not more than as little as no longer ago than not until barely scarcely hardly narrowly by a hair's breadth by the skin of one's teeth exclusively solely entirely
The Moral Here: learn to read before trying to be "that guy".
Don't pay attention to that guy, he's only dedicated to showing that he is rank 1 in a dlc of a video game, being arrogant and taking that as a reward, let him talk alone
If not then why wouldn’t we make one ?
