Is outdated, mented, if you add the patch in, you will downgrade your game back to 1.10.
(Not sure if "RE5 Fixes" are olso outdated, or might have problems with the Trainer...)
Ult.Trainer from Raz0r is not compatible with older version, but only with the current.
1.2.0
So you need to re-install game in order to be able to use Trainer.
+ The trainer it self, while running WILL desible "Region Lock"
(even description of the trainer sayes it...)
why peopels never reads descriptions...
Ok, but my question is, is a patch not needed any more?
Thanks for the reply.
IF you seeking other fixes from the patch, then too bad, you will need to choose to play on older patched version or on recent version without the patch.
IF you need more INFO, about anything around this (little more details, idk...) add me.
Thanks for the help.
The "Ultimate Trainer by Raz0r & Dente":
Does desibe "Region Lock" when the trainer is running.
It's part of the Trainer
The Trainer act as "Region Locker Desibler"
when it's running.
Not that hard to understand it... xD
LOL, sorry, I'm not expressing myself right. I do understand. I have already used the trainer to unlock region with unpatched game and it works. For years I have used the RE5 Fixes patch and I was wondering how to patch the game and have region unlocked, but you have answered that. I'm now uninstalling and reinstalling the game and am going to use latest UT.
Some mods might not work in 1.2.0 *bcs of differed script events*.
(So if you want to use them, you need to downgrade to 1.10, where they work prew. If they were made before the update)
Deppends, on mod.
But, the models/sounds/texture replace mods works without problem.
Not sure how this relate with Region Lock, but what ever...
I'm guessing 1.2 was when they introduced the new DRM?
And i don't know why you have such problem with DRM.
And necroposting on year old post about this.
DRM = Digital rights Management
(since game is no longer on GFWL, they moved to this, so they know you own digital copy of the game)
Does the game running ?
> Yes.
Does the game supporting mods ?
> Yes.
Can you use 3rd party programs on top of it?
> Yes.
IF you want to move back to GFWL version (without the GFWL)
use QoL Patch, whitch will downgrade your game back to 1.10.
(But you will be limmited to play with others that olso have the patch. and lack the features from 1.20)
You complaining, that you own Digital Copy of the Game ?
Then what the heck you doing on Steam ? xD
If so, go to store and buy Hard Copy of the Games...
No stores sell hard copies, plus they get activated into digital copies anyways since you'll need the internet if you manage to find one.
1. **Ensure Compatibility**
- Confirm the version of the game you're using, both before and after applying the QoL Fixes patch. The Ultimate Trainer is known to work only with specific versions of *Resident Evil 5*, and patches can often modify the executable file in ways that render the trainer ineffective.
- Check whether the Ultimate Trainer has been updated to support the QoL Fixes patch. If not, you may need to use an older game version or find an updated trainer.
2. **Alternative Region Unlock Methods**
- Consider using *Maluc’s Patch* for region unlocking. This standalone patch allows you to access all regions without interfering with other modifications. It’s a proven alternative that bypasses the need for trainer compatibility.
3. **Reinstall the Game**
- If multiple patches or mods have been applied, reinstall the game to restore it to its original state. Then, apply only the QoL Fixes or Maluc’s Patch, depending on your preference.
- Test the Ultimate Trainer with the unpatched game first to confirm it works as intended.
4. **Check Modding Communities**
- Visit forums like the *Resident Evil Modding Boards* or *Nexus Mods*. These are excellent resources for finding trainers or fixes compatible with the patched version of the game.
- Search for community-driven solutions, as modders often provide updates or alternative methods to unlock regions and enhance compatibility.
By carefully verifying compatibility and avoiding conflicts between patches and trainers, you should be able to unlock regions successfully. If additional guidance is required, I’m more than happy to assist further.
I appreciate your post. Very helpful.
I uninstalled my game and manually deleted any remaining files that had to do with the patches and then reinstalled. I'm using the latest UT and it works fine.
