Different characters for campaign

Hi guys, I am thinking of buying this game or not, I wanted to know if the campaign has a lot of character choice where you can play in different doubles just like in re6 you can play as chris and piers, ada and hunk, chris and helena, for re 5 is it only chris and sheva?

There are also playable Jill and Josh, Jill and Chris in 2 DLC missions but they are pretty short.

First of all, yes it is Chris and Sheba but you can change the characters.

You can use female with female just fine. Animation is a bit weird but you can still do missions

Now Male with male won't work sadly, because the co-op quests won't work. But you can still use male to male.

This works with all modes, only thing that will be affected is your side. So no one can't see your character swap.
