The save from the GFWL version is located in a different place than the new Steamworks version. I don't have the new version installed right now, so I can't test what happens if you delete that save, but the new save is located somewhere around:
C:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\XXXXXXXX\21690\remote
The Xs being your Steam ID #, you should be able to find it.
IF that's the one you're deleting and it doesn't work, let me know, and I'll play around with it a bit to see if we can figure something out.
But i found a way browsing old posts. I bring the solution in case someone else want to start from scratch:
Open savedata.bin, located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\XXXXXXX\21690\remote
with notepad and delete a couple lines. Save. Launch your game and try to load the data.
Obviously the game will say the save is corrupted and give you the opportunity to create a new one.
Hoping this will be useful for someone.
anyway thx for your feedback DrakeVX.
P.S : tu as passé 2400h sur le jeu ouah on peut dire que tu es fan :p
Undid changes, still bricked.
Restarted computer, it worked.
Seriously, thank you. I have a friend coming home next week-end and we wanted to start again this game we finished years ago. You just saved our week-end, four years in advance. Thanks a bunch!
