Save Migration Data Tool? Xbox360 - PC

I have been trying for hours to get my game data transferred from my Xbox360/Microsoft Live account over to Steam version I bought today.

I try to link my account via the main menu in game, but when it loads, the game says there's no saved data associated with the account, even though I can see the game, my achievements etc when I go to Games in the menu for Game for Windows Live. Image below

I'm so lost and really frustrated. I had everything upgraded, great scores in Mercs, and almost 3 million bonus points...

PS: I've been reading posts all night and am still confused as to whether it's possible to do this at the moment or not.

sorry but you can't import your Xbox 360 save file
this only works for save files from the old Games for Windows Live PC version...

The save migration tool doesn't work with Xbox 360 save files, because the save file the game searchs for is inside your PC hard disk drive and not on your Live Profile. Consider you lucky if it could somehow transfer your achievements, but not even that seems possible.
