res = 1, err = 0x00000007e
Please, help me with this. I can't touch video settings because it crashes. The starts with 1280x720p and whenever I launch the game, another window appears with res = 1, error = 0x00000007e. I have to play it at 720p but after 20 minutes it crashes again. My game was ok before upgrading to gold edition.

+ @CAPCOM: Please remove the GFWL crap.

BTW, i would never ever recommand to install 3rd party patches.
That is a high security risk.
Never ever trust someone who gives you stuff for free. :steamfacepalm:

Sorry @maluc. I didn't meant to offend you.

Probably you are a nice guy and you spend your precious spare time to support the gaming community.
That alone deserves respect. :steamhappy:

But there are literally thousends of ways to spread malware without the knowledge of the developer.

For example, bad guys could
- infect your development system / network
- hijack your IDE
- lurk inside your 'cracked' tools
- backdoor your used SDK's
- hack your homepage and contaminate your downloads

Or you could accidently create a security risk by modifying the crappy GFWL spyware...

Sadly Open Source is the only responsible way to offer free software.

Peace. :TheBee:
