BTW, i would never ever recommand to install 3rd party patches.
That is a high security risk.
Never ever trust someone who gives you stuff for free.

Probably you are a nice guy and you spend your precious spare time to support the gaming community.
That alone deserves respect.
But there are literally thousends of ways to spread malware without the knowledge of the developer.
For example, bad guys could
- infect your development system / network
- hijack your IDE
- lurk inside your 'cracked' tools
- backdoor your used SDK's
- hack your homepage and contaminate your downloads
Or you could accidently create a security risk by modifying the crappy GFWL spyware...
Sadly Open Source is the only responsible way to offer free software.
