Capcom didn't have any part in Castlevania either (it was Konami), so I'm inclined to believe you're talking out of your arse.
At first when the game came out, this game was good, especially the partner system. You can help friends, etc. The game was set on daylight, there's Chris and (SPOILER) Jill, no horror stuff (perfect for new gamers), and so on.
