Current Status of Resident Evil 5 Online Co-op

I would like to know if the online co-op mode for Resident Evil 5 is still working smoothly as of July 2024. Has anyone had any recent positive or negative experiences with the online gameplay? I appreciate any information you can share.

There are no online services for RE5, everything is p2p, if you have bad/laggy connections it's because of bad internet nothing more, so yes everything is still up, running and working fine

The online is not dead, far from it, the list of games to join is always full if you search without restrictions, I have to turn some restrictions on to find games that interest me

HOWEVER, by default the game is Region Locked, because of that you may not be able to find any games, the simplest fix to Region unlock is that you have to get a trainer and run it at the same time, you just need to have it open and it works its region unlocking magic

There once was other ways to unlock region but they are either no longer available or not compatible with the most recent version of RE5 forcing you to downgrade and play exclusively with other people who downgraded (There aren't many)

If both players gmhave good connections and use same game version, should work fine without any major problems
