If you wish to play really solo.
Look at 5:18
https://youtu.be/JodfID7qLlA?si=gxbBh0w3tasZf-Wh
It is silly lol.
Other variant how to play solo, is to ask some one with trainer to join.
So he can clip out of map , letting you do the thing.
And only came back to map exits or partner events.
Lets hope, that remake of re5 will get to roots and bring back solo mod.
RE0 you control Billy and Rebecca
RE1 you control Chris and Rebecca
RE2 you control Leon and Ada / Claire and Sherry
RE3 you control Jill and Carlos
RE4 you control Leon and Ashley
And so on and so forth.
It was never solo play with one character.
Just controlling another character does not equal to having an AI partner,Ashley is also a different case because she is not present in many parts and she doesn't really help you in combat.
