Wesker Too Difficult To Defeat
With hardly any ammo and no way to buy any or find some the end game is way too difficult and after serveral tries you just feel like giving up.

You dont need much ammo for the last volcano part. Only a few sniper rounds (Sheva) to distract the guy chasing Chris. The ending area any gun but dont spray, aim for his weak spot which randomly reveals either in front or on the back. As soon as he is stunned, Chris moves to restrain him from the back while Sheva stabs both of them from front. Just take your time to aim, most of his attacks here are easy to dodge. The important part is just figure out when he is stunned.

Sounds simple enough, I'll give it a try. Thanks
youtube can help if you still dont get how to kill him.

Use a machine gun or pistol to hit the red sphere on his back. The damage it does doesn't matter - any hit will do to make the sphere on his chest open up. Then, use the Magnum (damage fully upgraded if you can) to shoot his chest and tear him apart. It literally took me like 4 or 5 shots to bring him down. Rather anticlimactic, if you ask me.

Also, here's a hint to restore ammo. Upgrading the capacity of a weapon automatically restores all ammunition to full. So if you haven't reached maximum capacity, try that. Works wonders with the machine gun and sniper rifle.

* Do hugging and stabing for climatic effect :D
* Nice tip on ammo. I usually upgrade capacity when my ammo is low to get extra bullets :D

Wait for him to spin his tentacle, and land a rocket behind him (on the floor)
If you fail just restart the mission.

The game will hint that the glowing spot on his back is exposed.

Rocket launcher deals 30,000 HP damage according to RE5's guide
so it should end the battle in 1 hit.

Go to chapter 3-1 and pick up the free Rocket Launcher on the sunken boat
near the center of the lake, though it would mean fighting through Chapter 6-3 again.

But you can keep selling the free rocket launcher and all the treasures around the lake
(Just don't start collecting the emblems and keep saving inventory when quitting
and restarting chapter 3-1)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfNkU1s1goQ

There are location of the 3 emblems, just don't go there for a fight.
(Since your main objective is to get treasures and weapons for free)
The remote corners and a small island in middle of the lake do provide treasures
which you can farm without fighting.

Fully upgrade all your necessary weapons and stockpile some first aid spray.
Buy and sell weapons like magnum to obtain ammo, a 2k magnum would mean
selling 2 rocket launchers for 12 bullets

Use a sniper rifle to get rid of the rocket launcher troops

Scavage the surrounding of the gate opening to the 2 minigun majini
there are herbs, first aid spray and ammo. which can help you last longer.

Reapers (the cockroach thing) are afraid of flash grenade, so flashing it will expose the white
sacks which are weak points. Unless you have rocket launcher, a grenade launcher + flash round would help a lot against Reapers.

The 2 minigun Majini are exceptionally hard to take care, just give them a single rocket
landed between the 2 of them, it would take out anyone else nearby and allow you to rush through before the enemies behind you catch up.

You can restart at checkpoints (the volcano battle) so have a spare rocket launcher in inventory
(if you do not have the infinite rocket launcher). Restart to restock your inventory with healing items and stuff.

3 rocket launchers
1 for Minigun Majinis
1 for Wesker on deck
1 for Wesker on volcano

Or simply get a friend to play as sheva and shoot wesker in the back with a rocket launcher.
End of story.

That said, getting infinite magnum might seems good, but hard to obtain during early stages
just farm for infinite P226 which is high on firepower and allow easier farming.

Equip the AI with the same weapon which you just unlock infinite ammo for.

Infinite M29 would kill any enemies in 1 headshot or 2 bodyshots (Licker and stronger BOW)

I only keep picking item from the crash site, quit game and save inventory and repeat until
I sold enough ammo / red herb which are put into use or sold for upgrades.

I beat Wesker using the suggestions given. Thanks.
