The setting that removes most QTEs was actually turned on automatically as soon as I updated the game to the latest update, they were turned on to "Assist" for me. Both "Auto" and "Assist" get rid of most, but not all QTEs - I still encountered a few instances in which you had to use them through the game.
Perhaps the best part out of this feature is the fact it skips 80% of the Sheva button mashing segment in the last chapter of the game during the volcano fight - not only is 80% of the button mashing skipped, but Sheva herself goes back up 80% faster.
